TS x XW had a cute thing going in the first half, but the author ruined her character after the Sacrifice, along with their romance. The SanWu pairing would have been better if she'd remained in spirit form, perhaps making brief appearances (for example TS x Bai He's bet which was great) until TS could resurrect her--ie. less plentiful but more effective rom. Either that or dead altogether LOL.

A TS x Hu Liena ship however would have put SanWu completely in the shade imo. The forbidden lovers thing would have made for endless intriguing possibilities. Obviously, that would throw a monkey wrench in the human x spirit beast element so some reworking would be needed--possibly even making her a spirit beast relative right under Bibi's nose, idk LOL. I suppose in that same vein, Qian Renxue could have worked too, but I thought Hu Liena was a much more interesting character..

Yeah it was a cute, childhood sweetheart thing, sadly the author dragged her death status for far too long, should have had her resurrected with the herb and other ingredients as soon as possible, even now (other novels as well) she is like a living furniture that is around Tang San with no story to add

Some sort of story instead of Tang San, Xiao Wu's ring went to Hu Liena or she manages to find a 100,000 year old fox spirit ring that allows her to be equal in strength to Tang San instead of the accumulation of Sea God rewards is bestowed on Xiao Wu where Hu Liena actually participates in the trials like the rest of the Seven Shrek Monsters
I agree Hu Liena much more interesting than Qian Renxue, the former's feeling was genuine during the Slaughter City arc, even though she couldnt have done what Xiao Wu did with her sacrifice, at least her feelings were true

Qian Renxue was out of the blue during her illusion challenge of her Angel trials she discovers her feelings towards Tang San, I was like EH??? It was like the author wanted to surround beautiful women around Tang San, poor Mubai I get what the author was trying to do, but for me, based on that small plot device, it was weak and lame

Why poor Mubai? from his introduction he was already outed as a womanizer who had probably slept with several women before that moment. I felt bad for Zhu Zhuqing when I realized she had fled her home to be with him only to find that out.
Also, there were two other women who could possibly be shipped with Tang San, Meng Yiran and Huo Wu from fire academy. I'd probably go for Yiran out of those two because she felt a connection to him after that kiss and wanted to protect him later on. Also, her family could have been a great addition to Tang Sect.
Out of your list though, I think Hu Liena would have been a good match for him but I doubt Tang San would get over the fact that her sect killed Xiao Wu which would put a strain on their relationship. The same with Qian Renxue and in regard to Zhu Zhuqing, she barely speaks so communication would be bad. Even though her character introduction was bad that she came off as a spoiled child, Ning Rongrong showed great character progression over time and would be a great asset in merging her sect with Tang sect.

Oh yeah I forgot about them, Meng Yiran was quickly forgotten by the author and Huo Wu would have added some fire and passion into the relationship lol
Come to think of it Shui Bing'er from the Skywater academy (ice and water attribute) would be nice as well lol
True, Hu Liena's group was responsible for capturing Xiao Wu, it wouldnt really go well, the author would need to perform some miraculous writing to spark a relationship

I think Shui Bing'er saw him more as a rival than anything else. We're also forgetting Yan the poison douluo's granddaughter. They were pretty cold to each other but she may have developed an affinity towards him after he cured the backlash of the poison.

Ahh but she has strong feelings for Yu Tianheng (Tang San's master's nephew), the captain of her team and in the novel it was implied she is pregnant with his child, this was removed from the manhua and donghua, although in the donghua, Tang San did tell Poison Douluo that Yan has her eyes on someone else

I didnt know that she was pregnant with her captains child and I remember Tang San telling the poison douluo that she had eyes for another to get out of any idea he had of pushing his granddaughter onto Tang San. I just thought that she may have developed feelings for Tang San eventually because of the treatment.

To be fair the conversation Tang San had with Poison Douluo that his granddaughter is already in a relationship and pregnant was removed from the donghua and manhua, so unless you read the novel you wouldnt have known

Yeah Soul Land 2 will be about Tang San's daughter and Dai Mubai's descendant, who is actually the main character. It will be a different feel to Soul Land and one has to treat Soul Land 2 like you would to Bing Huo Mo Chu, same world but different characters and story

Most of this in the novel , the manga version does not have much content in it.

I am afraid I dont read the manhua. Manhuas are usually slightly different to the novel since the manhua targets younger reader as such it tends to remove certain contents that might not be suitable for younger readers. Google Soul Land manga should yield results

I can't ascertain this since I don't read the Manhua of a Novel I've read, and even though I do read the Novel of a Manhua I've read to continue the story, I continue it so I can't differentiate but I can say that Novel's tend to have more explicit content and descriptions than what Manhua typically shows.

That is the slight differences I meant, it is these content that are usually removed from the manhua
A good example is BTTH's rape scene, even though the novel didnt explicitly describe what happen, it does mention that Xiao Yan loses control and isnt himself and forces him upon Medusa with the sound of clothes tearing, it was caused by the overflow of Qi due to refining the second heavenly flame, later chapters then goes on and say due to this Medusa was pregnant, the manhua on the otherhand did not mention the rape, only he was overflowing with Qi and somehow it affected Medusa and through this, Medusa was pregnant through a non sex thing

Another example is Martial Peak (not True Martial Peak) where the main character is being attacked by a woman, and due to an explosion they were both nude and were entangled with each other, the MC threatens to stick it (you know exactly what I mean) to her if she kept attacking him, the manhua still had them wearing clothes, well undergarments with the occasional whitening areas of their sensitive areas, and their conversation was a little different to what was said in the novel.

As you can see, if the manhua followed the novel, it would not be suitable for younger readers. please note I am referring to readers in China, age limit and legal recognition of mature age in the rest of the world differs as such such scene might or might not be acceptable in a media

Ah, I would've preferred that outcome in BTTH because their relationship seems pretty platonic and not real, so it was hard considering Medusa a Waifu since jt was their Qi that gave birth to the daughter, but it changes a lot if they had done the deed.

Also, the Martial Peak thing you're referring to is with Yang Kai and Xue Yue, one of his future official wives, although there was definitely more to that situation from what I remember, I do understand what you mean by slight differences, it's the same deal with Light Novels, Manga, and Anime, although the BTTH thing isn't "slight"😑

Medusa, I guess is tsundere? lol but yeah it was rather graphic and a lot of people wont like it due to Xiao Yan's personality, it does suit him at all however due to her pregnancy, Medusa mellows out, at least in front of Xiao Yan and especially in front of their daughter. Although she wanted and tried to kill Xiao Yan after the deed is done, she does fall in love with him slowly. It is also a plot device to have someone strong protecting Jiama empire and a reason for him to return I guess, since if it is a Qi thing, Xiao Yan probably wouldnt feel as much emotion towards Medusa (he feels somewhat responsible and guilty in the novel) or his daughter (he didnt feel any attachment to her, until she called him daddy for the first time and his heart melted)

I didnt like Xue Yue, but for some weird reason she became his wife, there were lots of other women who should be his wife but personally Momo is an idiot, people might disagree with me, but that is ok they are entitled to their opinion just as I am entitled to mine lol
I feel sorry for that girl that liked him, helped him gather the seed and then for no reason other that stupid reason of making Yang Kai get off his butt to destroy the demon race and to find a way to bring his family and friends to the Star Boundary, anyway enough ranting lol

I can see what you mean with Medusa, and like I said, their relationship really feels lacking in the Manhua no matter how much I try to force it, but Xiao Yan hasn't met his daughter yet so I'm highly curious as to how things will play out from there.

Yeah the novel does a much better job, Medusa's heart melts when her daughter is born, and her feelings for Xiao Yan becomes stronger after he proposes to her, on the otherhand, Xiao Yan develops feelings for her when he realises how much she's done for his Xiao family and taking care of their daughter, he get's his proper intimate moment with Medusa when when he proposes to her, and realise how truly beautiful she is and how much she is willing to change to be a good mother to their daughter

Anyways, I was highly disappointed when I found out neither Yang Yan or Zhang Ruo Xi becomes Yang Kai's Waifu and yet Xue Yue gets the job, seriously😓 The only thing I enjoyed and am looking forward to is that Zhang Ruo Xi at least kissed Yang Kai before going through the Blood Gate😌

Yes Zhang Ruoxi should be his wife more than Xue Yue, she still have a chance to be with Yang Kai since she is still alive, BUT of course Momo being the dickless wonder he is, shatted the story for them, probably because of his number one problem, he forgets things he has written, he probably forgot about Zhang Ruoxi and then when he realised it is too late.

While Yu Zhuo died, her death means the end of any future content about her. Yu Zhuo's death is unnecessary, I have more sympathy for Yu Zhuo who helped that ASS find rare medicine seeds for his medicinal garden and on the day she is supposed to leave, that Yang Kai did not open his door and ignored her, she was staring at the door while she was leaving.
She died with her eyes opened staring at the sky with the look of someone filled with regret and a hole in her chest.
It took her death for that him to regret what he had done. when he found out that she even asked her sect to help find more seeds for him, he was even more sad, but too late Momo killed her off
